Activity Network Diagram

The Activity Network Diagram (AND) is one of the 7 Management and Planning tools and is used to depict the sequence of a project’s activities and any dependencies those activities may have with each other. AND shows what activities that must be completed before other activities can start (in series), and which can be performed at the same time (in parallel). The purpose of an AND is to identify the critical path through the project along with its time requirements.
