This client, a manufacturer of Automotive Electronics, was under pressure to improve quality and on-time delivery to their top client. Kaufman Global was asked to conduct a Rapid Performance Evaluation to rate the operation’s effectiveness, identify performance barriers and profile opportunities to quickly drive improvement.
The RPE was conducted with a small, joint KG-client team over the course of one day. Through a site tour, focus interviews and performance diagnostics scores, the team identified critical path-forward opportunities, including first-time-through metrics, workforce problem-solving capability, safety and product design engineering. The robust output and collaborative nature of the exercise enabled the client to quickly align on gaps and priorities and accelerate next steps.
