This project began with managerial perspective / culture awareness training to enable leadership to better support changes that would be taking place on the shop floor. Value Stream Mapping allowed the team to accurately assess the areas that would propel near-term results given the client’s need for immediate cost reductions. A blend of focused, hands-on training and direct implementation followed, with 10 Lean Leaders representing 6 countries learning the standard methods that would be applied throughout Europe.
