Key Elements
Classroom training: 2 to 4 weeks
We transfer everything we know about lean, implementation, change management and reengineering. The training format
is flexible depending on client requirements. For example, some clients desire a blend of lean and six sigma.
Rapid Improvement Events: 4 to 8 weeks
This is where future Lean Leaders get a real-life workout in applying the lean tools and techniques described in class.
More than that, they learn the nuances of facilitating and leading improvement teams, achieving true results in the process.
On-site implementation
Our professionals remain on-site to ensure alliance of the site leadership team and to work through site-specific issues that can confound
the best intentions and training. We implement the SLIM-IT® implementation
model and make sure that the lean transformation effort is well underway.
Benefits
- Accelerated lean implementation
- Immediate results from Rapid Improvement Events
- Ongoing site productivity improvement
- Structured continuous improvement
In Practice
We customize the content of the program to incorporate client-specific techniques and approaches as necessary. Then
we work with the client on participant selection and logistics. Finally we conduct the session at a designated
client site(s). We work alongside the future Lean Leaders and help them gain the real-life experience necessary to
be effective in their future role.
